RED Renate Thalhammer was born in 1972 and raised in Feldkirchen near Linz, Austria. In 1992 RED graduated from the technical school of Graphic Design in Linz, followed by a year-long Master Class. For the next nine years she worked in advertising agencies in Salzburg, Linz and Vienna in the areas of advertising, corporate identity, direct marketing campaigns, print and packaging design. In 2000, she moved to New York City and after various adventures spent five years conceptualizing and designing projects for world brands at renowned design firms such as Landor, Interbrand and Raison Pure. In 2006 RED officially founded Tripple Red, where as creative director she drives innovative projects for a wide variety of clients.
